Hayden Chaunce

A disgruntled miner down on his luck, Hayden aspires to be much more. After years of study at CAS Hayden realized he wasn't suited for the life of a miner. The cold wonders space held were always out of reach, beyond the next asteroid. Tedious hours managing power feeds and drone relays begin to wear on Hayden. A new enemy attacked from an angle Hayden did not expect, an enemy far more foul and wretched than the long weeks of dull mining, The Corps. The red tape, the requirments, the stiffling years spent indentured to them. Hayden saw his future before him, years of servetude to the Corps, his life spent in small, gritty ship cabins prodding life into mining drones and for what? Fatter pockets for the CEOs? New gleaming Cruisers for their militant arms? Hayden could see himself as an old man looking back into his past that held nothing but rocks he shattered to feed the glut of the Corp? If the Corps wouldn't see his potential, maybe others would.
