Life begins the moment you are born and take that first breath. As soon as that first bright harsh rush of oxygen fills the lungs, you begin to die. Within twenty four hours the first cells in your body begin to fail and new ones grow to take its place... The telomere chain in your DNA begins to grow shorter each time the cell reproduces. Every link in this chain growing less and less as you grow from infant and begin to become a toddler, then child, then pre-teen, then teen, then young adult, then adult, then elder. As you progress thru each stage the chain shrinks and shrinks making the cells less resilient and less efficient. The body ages and shrivels until the point comes the cell can no longer divide. Organs fail, the body turns upon itself and attacks what once was healthy and vibrant making more systems and processes fail until nothing of nature nor man can be of aid and you pass out of the world of life. Your body either burned or entombed. If the latter the microorganisms and symbiotic creatures as well as parasites within the body feeding off the now dead cells as they begin to decompose and rot. Feeding off of the once live host body until nothing is left to consume and then they feed on one another. They continue on and on until nothing remains but a pile of dust.
