Bio

There was it again...this bad feeeling of presentiment. It occures every time when guards come to drag you out of your prison cell. Is it already morning again? I'm feeling so terrible. The cold stone floor barely let me find some sleep. I'm looking around just to realize why i'm here. It's the same reason why nearly all of us are here. We never committed a crime, we never did anything wrong. It's just because of who we are, Minmatar.

The footspteps, they are getting louder, soon they will be here. The procedure is every morning the same, no matter if you show obedience or not. Every morning they arbitrarily select some of the prisoners and torture them for hours, just to serve a warning to the others. Their destination is the deep ore mine where they sometimes can still quietly hear the cruel screams of the abused. The mine is deadly and its darkness is only exceeded by its filthy, muggy air. Mostly we have to work around 20 hours a day, seven days a week. The mining is hard and it is not unusual that some of the drudges die because of starvation. If that happens, and we are lucky, they just carry the corpse away, but sometimes it just rots at the same place for weeks, while we have to work right next to it. The guards are always watching, straight-faced. No sign of mercy, guilt or regret. Stone-cold, just like machines!

A sad mix of anger and pain comes over me, but also the fear of beeing the next. I can only hope, that they don't stop at my cell. I cower myself pathetically into the corner, just to attract no attention. But it all was in vain. One of the guards points at me and the other one opens the rusty steel door. No, I don't want to go! Not again! As they brutally grab me i scream, and then.... i wake up!

A nightmare, not the first of that kind. Nearly five years past by since i got freed from Amarrian slavery. I was still a child as an Amarrian commando appeared and attacked our colony. I was so young, that my own memories are only vague fragments. But later i got told by another prisoner how the Amarrians executed their ambush. They came at night as most of us were asleep. The residents were brutally captured, people who resisted instantly killed. The remaining were carried away and enslaved. Then they splitted us up and brought us to different locations. Some who were lucky and had the right skills became servants on Amarrian spaceships or estates. But basically they needed us for their ore mines. I've spended nearly my whole life in such a hole, that was the place were i've grown up.

Usually everyone breaks apart sooner or later and loses his identity under these conditions, but in my case, there hasn't even been an identity to lose. A few months after my liberation, as i sat in the bureau of Karin Midular to start my training in the Sebiestor tribe, i were not able to answer the most common question. As she simply asked me 'Whats your name?', i could only respond 'I don't know. For my whole life my identification was prisoner 03572'.

OOC: Thanks for reading my bio and please excuse my bad english, it's not my native language and i'm still learning it. Suggestions for spelling corrections are always welcome :)
