When ratting or mining, keep your ship in the direction of the station to jump, in 2-3 seconds. Never go below 30% of your shield/cap capacity; jump to safe point, refresh and reengage. Stay away from the asteroids at least 5 km.
Any unknown to you, new player in Local Chat window, shall be treated as a hostile regardless of his/her security status and
you have to jump to safe point/station without any delay.
Rearm to PVP combat setting, if you have to engage, first.
