Iria Machigai

Iria Machigai is a self-made woman. At the age of 8 she opened the business that got her where she is today: a lemonade stand on the recreation deck of the Science and Trade School at Amsen VI. Her lemonade was the finest in the region, made from the only real lemons in a four-jump radius. As such, she guarded her lemon patch with tenacity and skill. At the age of 10 she dispatched her first transient caught in the attempt of stealing a lemon. A single glass of her lemonade commanded prices comparable to a few tons of high-tech manufacturing tools.

Her savings from the lemonade stand were sufficient to pay her tuition at the school and buy her first Ibis. The rest, as they say, is history.
