After the devastation of her home planet of Turnur, Nora Lilja became for a became a part of the Ashes of Turnur anti-technology crusade. Once her rage subsided, however, she began to clash with the group's thinking and reject its teachings. Still feeling unmoored from the Republic, she chose to go it alone, putting her skills to use for anyone with the ISK to pay for them.
