Firestorm Munitions Group is a Gallente Federation arms manufacturer and capsuleer corporation operating out of Sinq Laison, with primary trade operations based in Dodixie and a dedicated research and invention facility in the Ignoitton system.
Founded in YC 89 by former Federal Navy weapons technician Aurelle Duvanne, Firestorm began as a small ordnance workshop producing custom missile assemblies and modified weapons components for independent capsuleers and mercenary outfits who demanded more than the major manufacturers were willing to provide. That reputation for uncompromising performance carried the corporation from a two-hangar operation to one of the most respected independent arms manufacturers in the Federation.
The corporation's product range covers three core disciplines — missile systems, smartbomb arrays, and heavy gun platforms. The Emberstrike missile series, the Shockwall smartbomb arrays, and the Ironwall and Ashblast heavy gun ammunition lines have all earned strong reputations among capsuleers who require weapons that perform exactly as promised in the most demanding combat environments New Eden has to offer.
At the heart of Firestorm's continued innovation is the Firestorm Advanced Ordnance Institute, established in YC 108 in the Ignoitton system. Capsuleers contracted to Firestorm are eligible to participate in the Institute's invention programme, co-investing in cutting edge blueprint research and gaining early access to prototype and tech II weapons systems before they reach the open market.
