Bio
Long before the Silent Vanguard flew under the banner of the eagle and crossed swords, there was only silence--an intelligence network without a name, born in the debris fields of fallen empires and forgotten wars. Whispers tell rumors of remnants of an ancient reconnaissance corps disavowed by their creators, others believe they were never fully alive to begin with--sleeper agents awakened by an entropy trigger buried deep in proto-sentient code.
Whatever the rumors the Galaxy knew only this: in lawless sectors where gravity itself bends from warping mass drives and pirate lords rule from shattered moons, ships would vanish. Not the prey-the predators.
No sensor trails. No signals. Just a rumor: a flicker on the edge of perception, a star blotted out for a moment, and a single word broadcast on every channel-"Observed.''
They called them The Silent Vanguard.
Their existence was denied by every major interstellar government. But captured warlords would speak of them in hushed tones, describing masked figures descending from nullspace in vessels marked by a symbol--a silver eagle perched upon crossed swords, a sharp piercing eye watching through the void.......
