Bio
The things we own, end up owning us...
In my long years of being an Eve capsuleer, I've looked for a raison d'\xeatre. I thought it was making as much ISK as possible. Having a hangar full of ships. Storage containers overflowing with modules and rigs and - well, you get the idea.
Shortly after the Winter Nexus, I got to looking at all those ships and containers. Many still packaged, shielded with over a decade of dust. Hell, I didn't even remember buying some of them.
I sold most of the lot, save a handful I regularly use and a handful with fond memories from adventures past. Fitted a single ship for travel and exploration, combat sites, Abyssal runs and a little day-tripping in WH space. Then I set off for a system over 75 jumps away, to see how long I could explore and survive in that single ship.
Sure, the cargo hold is cramped with modules I swap with the Mobile Depot. There's barely 100 cubic meters of space for loot. And sometimes I have to jettison ammo (or other loot) to make it all fit.
But I'm happier now than I've ever been in Eve.
It's important to find your own way, in New Eden and in life. I hope you find it. If it happens to be the wandering, nomadic traveler's path like mine, reach out to me in the Traveler's Co Public chat.
(Corp is intentionally kept fairly small to devote time and resources to teaching and helping newer players, with no taxes ever.)
Another year gone
Traveler's shade on my head
straw sandals at my feet.
Fly safe.
