The Union Navy is the steel fist of the Universal Union. It was established shortly after the collapse of the Sol Federation as a means to protect Universal Union assets and make sure to minimise foreign interference of the Union's military and territorial interests. All operations are overseen by the Admiral, but the entire navy is under strict supervision of the Union Protectorate.

Union Navy fleets consist of usually Caldari hulls and the navy focuses strongly on missile technology, however the main offensive strategy of the Navy consists of hybrid turret fitted vessels, thus giving the navy high versatility.

The Universal Navy frequently conducts military operations both in and outside empire space aswell as patrolling systems the Protectorate selects, mostly consisting of systems with located Union assets and stations.
