Bio
RHYNOKORN:
The rhynokorn is a legendary creature that has been described since the exodus to New Eden as a beast with a single large, pointed horn projecting from its forehead. The rhynokorn was depicted in ancient seals of the Gallente Civilization and was mentioned by the ancient Caldari in accounts of natural history by various writers, including Cteslas, Strumpo, Potinny the Younger, and Armeasn.[2] The Amarr Scriptures also describes an animal, the ream'em'ouhc , which some versions translate as rhynokorn.[2]
In Minmatar folklore, the rhynokorn is often depicted as a Black hriak-like or ga'atu-like animal with a long horn, cloven hooves (sometimes a ga'atu's beard) and red eyes. During the Amarrian invasion, it was commonly described as an extremely wild woodland creature, a symbol of strength and dominance, which could be befriended only by long-term trust. According to Minmatar Loremasters, its friendship was said to have brought great luck and protection. During the Great Rebellion, the symbol of the rhynokorn was used to form underground cells of resistance that ended with the defeat of the Amarrians and their collaborators.
