Originally started circa 1970s earth by a gnarly, grumpy, sarcastic, and overly dramatic man named Fred Sanford. His relatives carried on his Salvaging empire for well over milleniums as it made its way to New Eden with the first explorers to enter. Mining was later added as operations were set up in New Eden.
