At the beginning was the Cosmos, then came the first explorers, the first settlers, the first clans, the first factional wars, and finally the first looters, a small clan at the origins, surviving by salvaging wrecks and looting abandoned stuff on battlefields even biomass, and, it's here that the future tribe heard for the first time that name which remain definitively theirs, given by miners scared to be robbed of their most precious possessions. Of course they was never robbed, but rumors have a long life !
After that Tribes spread out all over the galaxy, Looters chose to stay in Caldari space and settled in small systems like Otitoh, trying to avoid over crowded areas, and then started to be mercenaries or embrassing the full Military career, Scouting service or Fast Delivery providers or even ship resellers.
Despite this Tribe may still pick valuable stuff on some forgotten wrecks, and then deal with the famous yellow timer. They are not thieves, and most part of time they are friendly and non aggressive but don't mess with them. They have also been fighting the Guristas for so long, that it has earned them a lasting friendship with the Mordu Legion, thats why many of them are flying their ships.
Looters pray to the Cosmos elements, nature artefacts, so they like to call themselves Galaxy Childs or Pilgrims, and are active members of New Eden worships, in particular the cult of Bob.
Wandering souls are welcome, no taxes, no obligations, respect the tribe laws and allies, that's all. Here you will simply find a bed to rest and some food to survive.
The door is always open feel free to knock.
