Mission Statement

Following the recommendations of the Interstellar Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice ("IC-PVP"), the Office of Culture created the Enforcement Division ("EDOC") to uphold The New Halaima Code of Conduct ("CODE"). We seek to bring civilization to all reaches of highsec space by enforcing the law and spreading the eternal wisdom of James 315, the Saviour of Highsec.

The IC-PVP analysis found that strictly peaceful effots to civilize highsec produce scant results, are actually counterproductive in many cases, and do not provide sufficent ISK revenues to fund operations. Fortunately, countless successful Agents of the New Order of Highsec showed us the path to a brighter future. Thus, EDOC was formed to use the fiery light of neutron blasters when words and cultural development programs are inadequate.

How You Can Help

Being a productive and civilized member of New Eden's Highsec culture may seem a daunting task. Some days it might seem that bot-aspirancy and even the occasional actual bot will overrun the highsec territories. But fear not. In his infinite wisdom, James 315, has gifted us with years of guidance on CODE compliance at minerbumping.com.

You can do your part to protect the moral fabric of New Eden and spread the light of civilization by following the CODE. Ensure a better tomorrow for all of highsec by purchasing a Mining Permit today. For those who think a mere 10m ISK is too little support for our fine work, the EDOC accepts donations from generous citizens.

EDOC is not currently accepting applications for Enforcement Agents, but plans to do so once its operations are established.

Things to Know Before You Hire A Space Lawyer

ignorantia legis neminem excusat

Since ancient times, it has been accepted by all reasonable people that ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it. And public notice of the CODE has been provided for many years. The use of force has long been the foundation of civilization and, with the unique abilities of capsuleers, never has this principle been more justly applied. Thus, EDOC is confident that its decision to adopt more forceful measures to protect and promote highsec culture will withstand space-legal scrutiny.

Remember that permits and other requirements of the CODE apply to more than just miners. Indeed, the CODE requires Mining Permits for all highsec PVE activites. Failure to comply may result in the seizure and destruction of pods and equipment. Instead of incurring such losses and giving more ISK to a space lawyer, simply purchase a Mining Permit from us and obey the CODE.
