The ancient Roman Principate Navicularii would prowl the waterways of old, fighting off pirates while hauling goods through out the empire. They were an association of privateers who would contract out to fill the vast needs of the roman empire. They were the what conected the empire and allowed it to thrive.

The needs of old are no different than the needs of Amarr, and all of New Eden. Pirates still prowl the stars and munitions are a staple of life. Whatever EVE can throw at us, we can thrive if we stick together.
