General rules

Accounts have to be 48 hours old for any post or comment to show
This rule is basically our help against spam. We understand that 48 hours might be long for some people and moderators actively offer help by approving threads from younger users if they send a mail to the moderators with a link to your thread.
Accounts that have -99 comment karma and -10 submission karma will be automatically moderated by automod.
Once again this is a rule that can be bypassed by messaging moderators or posting better
Posts cannot break the Eve Online EULA
Please do not post any howto guides on botting or how to exploit bugs. Please be responsible and report any bugs you find instead of making them public. Same goes for posting GM convos etc. We do not want you to get banned in eve because ccp managed to link your reddit account and eve account together.
The topic of posts must be eve related
This is /r/eve not /r/all
Buddy links and referral codes of any kind are banned on /r/eve
This goes for any referral link for any type of site.
Strawpolls are automatically removed
Strawpolls can be approved by moderators by sending a mail requesting it.
Any type of fundraising is not allowed on /r/eve. The exception is if it's run by CCP
Gofundmes, kickstarters etc are not allowed. The reason here is that we as moderators cannot verify if it is legit and there has been at least one broadcast for reps thread that was fake and just a attempt to fish money. CCP run plex4good are allowed.
Do not recruit for your alliance or corporation on /r/eve instead use /r/evejobs
Releasing personal information or connecting any Reddit account or eve account to a real identity will lead to a permanent ban. Same goes for posting personal images.
Keep all hate within the game. The moderator team knows that eve players are very passionate about their game but please don't try to be a douche bag.
Votegaming is not allowed on /r/eve.
Don't try to link /r/eve threads and ask for upvotes or downvotes.
Banned URLs
All forms of URL shorteners are banned
Please only post using normal urls. We do not allow url shorteners because of many reasons. One being that you cannot see what the link is untill you click it. Another thing is that it can be used to avoid the url filter.
Any links to RMT/Botting sites will be removed
This falls under our general rule that prevents any post from breaking the EULA.
Themittani.com is not banned by the moderators and works perfectly fine as a link in a self post or a comment. Submissions linking to the site will however be banned by reddit admins due to their history of votegaming.

In general Posts have a stricter moderation policy and comments are left with very light moderation instead letting votes do most of the work.
This does not mean that comments are above the rules and you should still not break any rules
Do not post click bait. The titles on a post must accurately describe the content
Do not abuse flairs such as the b4r or propaganda flair.
Flair your own posts if they belong to the b4r or propaganda category.
Posts containing storyline information and data mined stuff from Chaos/SISI should try to use the [spoilers] tag.
Empty selfposts will be removed automatically by automoderator.
Long selfposts containing a lot of urls might trigger automoderator and remove it. Same thing with posting stuff that looks like IP adresses or emails.
If you feel your thread has been deleted unfairly please message the moderator team.
