Celestial Bank Incorporated (CBI) is a banking corp where you can open an account and recieve dividends after a deposit of ISK to Celestial Bank.

Having a CBI account info
------------------------------------------------- If a deposit is below one million ISK, the account holder will recieve a 1% interest rate at the beginin or end of each month. Account holders with over 1 million ISK in their CBI account will recieve a monthly interest of 5%. DISCLAIMER: The first month a CBI account is opened, they will not recieve interest until the following month. Also, holders withdrawing funds will have to wait one month, during which they do not recieve any interest for their account balance.

In order to take a loan that is equal to or over one million ISK, the player asking for the loan must have an account within CBI that equals at least half of the loan's value. If a player pays a loan after a month, they only have to pay 5% on their loan. This percentage will rise by 5% for every month that it takes for the player taking the loan to repay CBI. A player can do monthly payments in order to repay his loan.

Standing with CBI is basically like your credit score. If you have bad credit score, interest on your loans will be higher than that of a player with exellent/good standing. If you have bad standing you recieve less interest every month from your CBI account. You get bad standing bu not paying of loans or tampering with CBI in other ways.

Ship loans and how the system works

A ship loan is when a player needs a ship, and contacts a CBI agent to make a ship-loan. The player will then select the ship he wants to get from the loan, CBI will by it, and the player will pay monthly until he has payed for the ship. Please remember that interest goes up 5% every month, and this will not change unless you negotiate with a CBI salesman.

How funds are invested

Often, funds from our customers are used to create colonies, build ships and other merchandise, and play with the market. A CBI accountant will make sure that these investments will be able to pay off our customer's monthly interest rates, and often ISK is sealed away in case of emergency. In this way, CBI accounts are some of the most secure in the cluster.
