Financed via deep-pocketed investors and torpedo-related hijinks, the Academy pays brave WiNGSPAN Cadets to get lost — and discover life outside the safety of mission-running, hisec, and basic morality.
As a WiNGSPAN Cadet, you will take on daring projects, balancing risks against your ambitions. You will complete tasks that test your ability to navigate New Eden, and your ability to provide service with a smile. You will also compete against fellow Cadets for prizes and bragging rights that will become part of Academy lore.

Do note that while there are many standards a WiNGSPAN Cadet is expected to meet once inducted, there are no requirements to join.
Whether you are a new pilot, a returning adventurer, or just someone looking to explore, we'll take you. We'll take anyone, really. The first batch of Cadets didn't exactly survive. But you... you'll be better. Faster. And, hopefully, more resistant to explosive area-of-effect damage.
You have to be. Our insurance adjusters are basically requiring it.
