You open the encrypted channel and enter the contact information you were able to track down. The details were strangely hard to find, odd for a rather nondescript R&D corporation. New Eden is full of small exploration corps but very few are this difficult to get hold of.
A series of faint clicks and pops tell you the connection is being attempted. However, it’s taking longer than normal. After a few minuets of this static popping and clicking the line appears to go dead. Just before you give up and close the line a pleasant, professional female voice greets you.
“Hello, thank you for your interest in Nomadic Research. I regret to inform you that there is no one available to answer. All our operatives and agents appear to be outside of comms range. Nomadic Research is dedicated to finding new and improved ways of developing biochemical enhancement. We strongly believe that it is every pilot’s right to decide what they do with their clone. If your communication is of an urgent nature please write to our CEO. Otherwise feel free to join our public channel to talk to an agent when one becomes available. These contact details are now being uploaded to your device.”
With the end of the message the line goes dead and your device informs you that the upload is complete.
