Recommend you read some of the Basic books of Scientology and find out for yourself what it's about.
First thing you need to know is you don't "convert" to this religion. It's all-denominational and is an applied religious philosophy. This means it's something you use and apply to your life and living.

Try the Self Help section of your local library for basic books on Scientology or go to www.scientology.org for free online courses in the application of Scientology principles to life and living.

Find out for yourself if it works for you or not.
