For God and Empire:
The Praetoriani Classiarii Templares (PCLAS, hereafter referred to as “the Classiarii”) stand as the elite ground forces of the Excubitoris Chapter of the Sacred Throne Order (PIE).
From faithful origins as PIE shipborne security, Classiarii capabilities have rapidly evolved through decades of service to Amarr. Anti-pirate deployments, surgical strikes against heretics, defence of Imperial interests and more became regular operations. The introduction of warclone technology escalated this evolution, with Classiarii units taking part in the Molden Heath conflict and serving alongside forces such as the Imperial Guard.
Following the conclusion of that conflict, the Classiarii was reformed into the leading element of the Chapter's rapid reaction force, Legio XII Zakara. The Classiarii have since stood at the head of the expanding Chapter legions, proudly flying the Gryphon standard in conflicts across the Empire, most notably on Thebeka, Floseswin, Aharalel and Raravoss.
Today the Classiarii remains at the forefront of XII Zakara; the tip of the spear.
