“Together we shall take back that which the Empires took from us all.”
Every morning as Tenla awakens, she looks out, beyond the glass wall spanning her quarters. Today was just as any other. The skies that surround this most glorious empire, the golden cosmic dusts, the grandeur of Oris, filtered by passing naval vessels and business shipments and enterprising young capsuleers. The immortal life, once a dream in days long past, is the reality that shapes mankind today.
And yet, just as any other day, something was missing. A sense of life. Every ship that flies across the Amarrian skies has a crew of real blood, real sweat. Husbands and wives. They have children, many of them, waiting for their papa to return. The immortal race of capsuleers, while perhaps biologically human, lacks humanity. Emotions are dulled, conscience is considered a weakness. The Empires take advantage of this, for their interests lie in power, and the capsuleer pilot seeks fame, glory, and thrill.
Where Jamyl Sarum falls short, though, her daughter fights a war more meaningful than the conquest of a few solar systems.
