It was once said that the primary requirement for a strong and stable corporation in EVE is to ensure that the members of the corporation have some way of relating to each other outside of the game. It is on this principle that the Star Quest Corps of Exploration was founded.

Fr. Roderick, a podcasting Catholic priest in the Netherlands who founded the Star Quest Production Network, seeks to use digital media as a way of answering the Church's call to bring about a new evangelization. Inspired by this goal and Fr. Roderick's love of space and science fiction, we aim to explore the vastness of creation while witnessing to the truth.

In addition to proclaiming the good news, the corporation also seeks to take a democratic approach to business dealings and corporate decisions. Instead of permanent CEO and directors, we seek to hold regular elections for various positions within the corporation. This allows us to better distribute power without concentrating it and allow those interested to take on leadership roles once they have met the prerequisite training to campaign for that position.
