Averon, whilst part of the Gallente Federation, is close to the border of all 4 empires, and is a smelting pot of all the 4 major empires and criminal cartels. It is considered the festering heart of New Eden, a place where Gallentean hedonism and pleasures of the flesh are catered for by Ammarrian slave trafficking, where Caldari greed is suited to Minmattarian determination and disrespect for the law. As a result, inabitants of Averon are a mix of races, and become "wordly" without even having to ever leave their home. They exhibit the best, and worst of all the cultures that influence this region of Everyshore.
The Averon Dominion is a collection of local criminal cartels, government officials and militias working together to form the true governing body and powerbase for the region. Officially, the Gallente Federation may be the rulers in name, but in reality, the emerging Dominion is the true power.
The Averon Dominion Navy is the military arm of the Averon Dominion. The fleet doctrine is influenced by the 2 closest empires - Gallente and Amarr. The ships therefore combine aesthetics with strength, as both Gallente and Amarr ships are known for their armor yet graceful designs.
