Hawk Independent Trading was founded in 2011 by a group of veteran pilots who wanted to explore all aspects of life in the Eve universe. Although the corp eventually fell inactive it was restarted in 2016 and is now actively recruiting to rebuild its ranks.
We believe that the corp that plays together stays together. Based on this we are looking for active pilots who want to take part in shared activities alongside other corp members. That does not preculde also having your own activities planned - we don't run corp ops every night - but members who don't login or who don't regularly attend corp ops will be politely asked to look elsewhere.
The corp operates on the UK timezone, so core activity hours are between 1900-2200 Eve time on weekdays and between 0800-2200 on weekends.
We do group mining with Orca boosts and payouts based on market ore prices. We also run level 4 missions for fun and salvage. The minerals we generate are used to build ships, either for sale to corp members at advantageous prices or to the market.
We don't use voice comms, or require you to check on forums outside of Eve - everything we do is done within Eve. We require a basic API check for recruitment. We don't feel the need to be paranoid on security at this time, but reserve the right to change that in the future should it become a necessity.
We don't offer you access to hangars loaded with free gear. We expect members to be self-sufficient, and if you aren't then we will work with you to make you so. If you need something we will make sure you get it, not as a handout but as a result of teamwork and shared goals.
We are a mature and laid back group, with families and commitments outside of Eve. We are committed to respect and tolerance of ourselves and of others.
