The Consortium of Neoteric Alchemists was founded by two visionary leaders as an experimental project. The experiment? To see whether individuation, cooperation, and idealism could work in a structured virtual world.

Based on the ideologies of the real-life Consortium of Neoteric Alchemists, CNA wishes to test new ground by doing away with quantifying, competitive, limiting, and separating lines of thinking. Namely, this means that CNA will at no time possess any kind of corporation tax, will not enforce nuances in finance, and will not see interactions in a “what’s in it for me” line of thinking. The way the corporation will be run will also be drastically different from your average corp – finances, authority, and other social structures are tweaked to represent the ideologies which we would like to live by.

CNA is a corporation you can profit from. The CEO and close friends are not raking in your ISK. It is in the founders’ beliefs that the king should be governed by his own rules. Therefore, the CEO and all higher-ranking players in the corporation will simply be members with greater responsibility, not greater power or authority.

Abiding by idealistic principles, members are expected to trust one another, help one another when help is needed, respect the knowledge of more experienced players, put pride and ego aside when it is not helping, admit to mistakes openly and honestly, not cheat or otherwise swindle other members, and always realize that all the members are individuals wanting to join forces to create something greater.

If you want to be a part of the experiment, go ahead and send in an application detailing your interests and thoughts. We don’t care about experience, skills, or faction. We believe it is in ideology that individuals can truly be united, which comes irrespective of the physical or quantifiable qualities of a person.
