Open Recruitment Letter

Greetings EVE Online Community,

If you are actively searching for a corporation, we invite you to investigate our organization: The Junta. Our corporation was once home to a large organization of 500+ people that unfortunately fractured in 2010 and is now no more. After two years away from the game, it is now time to re-forge, re-build and re-ascend.

There are plenty of generic reasons to not join a new or rebuilding organization but there are a few reasons to consider Junta. First, a history of successful organization building as this will be the third major leadership project that I have lead. Each prior organization became 500+ mega corporations, dropped outposts, managed 0.0, and led alliances with the number of combat pilots on the field. Organizations can be built; it has been done, it will be done again.

Second, the focus is clearly on the needs of the mature, adult, working, family oriented gamer with a love for combat activities, a desire to compete and a need for a loyal community. The Junta’s highest values are: maturity, reasonable expectations, camaraderie and a focus on the working adult.

Finally, our concern is with attitude, character and personality instead of a singular myopic focus on skill points and being “leet”. Individuals who want to learn can be trained and advised. New players have a place in the organization. Older players burned out on “null sec” have a home. Players burned out on politics, drama and nonsense have a home waiting for them.
Junta is people, who want a better gaming environment, who want to compete, who want to achieve, who want brotherhood, who want camaraderie, who want a community. But most importantly who want to be partners in a collective future and are not just numbers on a roster. Junta is about a healthy gaming experience with a full rejection of; drama, politics, in-fighting, cliques and squabbles.
