Sitting in the station, wondering why everything up to now has never worked like it was planned. They lost ships, friends, stations, and even their assets. Destiny does not exist, a myth created by those who have more to explain those who have less. There wasn't a divine force holding them back, no god, deity or prophet exists in this universe. If one did, it never cared. Why should it?

There is/was no government conspiracy, the empire corporations, various factions or even pirates had better uses of their times and resources. The large corporations or alliances are too busy fighting over moons and egos.
