Avarice is much more than the normal fire in the belly, more than a simple hunger to consume. Avarice is the desire to win at all costs to take all for one's self. Avarice throws off all decent restraint and refuses to be yoked to outside principles. Avarice knows no ethics, no convention, and no bounds.
