It is said that there are such lonely souls, souls that live nither a life of torment nor a life of riches. Not a life of sorrow, yet not a life of joy. These souls walk a lonely path, yet not one full of complete darkness. These souls wander through dreary days, these souls are shadows.

One such soul was wandering a lonely path when the devil approached it, and asked for some company, as few enjoy conversing with him. The soul replied : "You may feel lonely, yet you have enemies to occupy you, I have not such things, for I am alone."

The devil proceeded to fight his enemies, and found an interest in them, passing the time. The soul continued his path, one of little, one of self.

Later an amazing light came to the soul, which identified itself as God, it told the soul : "You are welcome to my kingdom, as you have not lived an evil life, nor one of good. You have not lived a life of material, yet not a life of nothing, you are welcome to my kingdom."

The soul replied : "You have many friends, yet many enemies, this must keep you busy, you must watch over many, yet not get involved with many others. People look up to you, yet some ignore you. I however, will prefer to watch from a distance, as to see the whole picture, for I am alone."

Such souls, are Shadow Souls. You may feel their presence when you feel alone, yet you are never truely, as the Shadow Souls will wander.
