AnTech was founded over 200 years ago as a special interest board for a chemical supply company on Annaro I's southern continent. Originally meant to serve as a small buffer office for business relations with larger Fleet Industrial corporations and Annaro System Industries, AnTech began showing promise when its managed to close a groundbreaking deal eliminating environmental bans on strip mining in the Annaro System. When the chemical supply company went under, the AnTech office was bought by Annaro System Industries and incorporated into its Administrative Offices. When the nearby Jita System became a bustling locale of industry, Annaro System Industries relocated to Jita permanently. Seeing little promise left in the Annaro System, ASI decided to leave only one office behind to manage the Annaro System's industry: AnTech. When Annaro System Industries eventually went out of business, capital waned for AnTech and they were forced to find outside investments or follow suit with ASI. With the industrial infrastructure of the system failing, the remaining companies on Annaro Prime proposed a pact to unify into a strong system-wide industrial productions firm under the AnTech banner in an attempt to reinvigorate the economy. It succeeded, and today AnTech is the largest dedicated corporation in the Annaro System. The Industrial Freight & Shipping branch of AnTech was the first separate branch founded after AnTech's incorporation as the head of industrial affairs for Annaro. They primarily serve as the main mode of freight through the system, and specialize in serving as a buffer zone between deep space mining expidtions and the cerntral hub of commerce, Jita.
