The Black Empire Corporation currently places an emphasis on conducting Anti-Pirate operations and activities, aimed at routing out the ruthless and annoying Pirates and Ore Thieves operating in regions near the Empire's base of operations.

ALL Corporation Members are REQUIRED to maintain a Security Status of greater than 0.0. Falling below 0.0 will result in being placed on probation for two weeks, and will be followed by removal from the corporation.

While participating in Pirate activities is hence obviously discouraged, the Corporate leadership realizes the impossibility of enforcing 100% compliances on this issue. As long as proper Security Status is maintained, leadership will more than likely turn a blind eye to such activity, unless it directly interferes with stated Corporate Strategies and political maneuvering.

The Black Empire also engages heavily in the Industry and Science aspects of the game, taking advantage of them to promote and grow our corporation. As an Anti-Pirate corporation, we have set ourselves up to be very friendly to Mining Corporations, and others that benefit from Anti-Pirate activities.
