Kirsty was born under strict rule of the Caldari State, where she was subjected to intense training throughout her childhood. Her parents, who were established entrepreneurs, had made a name for themselves by trading valuable resources with the Amarr. At the age of 16, Kirsty's parents, who ever yearned for vaster wealth, became involved in illegitimate smuggling operations with Amarr criminals. They were both implicated in a huge scandel after an Amarr pilot leaked information to Caldari Customs. The family name was tarnished and her parents locked away, their assests seized.

Kirsty, who was appauled by the behaviour of her parents, decided that she would never adhere to their criminal ways and denounced them. She set out alone into Todaki, where her journey as an honest industrialist and trader led her to join a mining corporation based in Tash-Murkon, BBK Corp. She considers the corp her family, and is passionate about her career and protecting those close to her.
