Carlyn was born in a Null Security location in space, one she's never known by name. As a 3 year-old, she witnessed the clash of an Amarr and Gallente fleet in that very system, a Capsuleer ambush, counter attack, and counter counter attack. She was mesmerized by the Hyperion Class Battleship that seemingly led the Gallente fleet into a solid victory. Ever since, she wanted to be a pilot.

At the age of 19, she finally managed to contract herself to become a Capsuleer. For 2 years she'd been in Amarr Space, working with other capsuleers that helped her grow. Eventually, tragedy hit as the corporation she was in revealed to be nothing but a corrupt bunch, and as she left, another man followed her. Jason Kenistan. Together, they left for Gallente Space, to start anew under a more accepting government.
