Bio
A young Amarrian noble, Shaethil was supposed to be the heir to a small Amarrian House, but by his own will, he chose the life of the Capsuleer, disagreeing with the ways of his culture. Like many other young Amarr, he knew that the culture of his Empire had to change if it was to survive and coexist - as much as he prized and valued Amarr life, he vociferously opposed slavery and such, which eventually led to the disagreement with his family that led him to becoming a Capsuleer, ending his connection to the Amarr nobility.
He's quite the cheery person, oddly optimistic in the face of danger, and strangely religious - he does not agree with most of the tenets of Amarrian religion, but places a high value on faith, and has a strong stance on the divinity of the soul, and the closeness of Capsuleers to the Amarrian god. He associates a great deal of his faith with the sun and solar worship, and feels most at home basking in the light of the suns of New Eden. His Amarrian ships, which he flies almost exclusively, with few exceptions, thus carry all monikers themed around the sun in some way, with his pride and joy being his most prized ship, the Paladin-Class Marauder Battleship "S.S. Sunfather," as if it referred to some solar deity. His devotion to his faith, however, leads him to have a great hatred for the Blood Raiders, who in his opinion are a heretical stain on the glorious form of Amarrian faith.
He generally treats others well, though he takes challenges and insults somewhat badly, and is overly careful. Proud of his homeland, and yet aware of its flaws, he has a bad habit of apologizing for Amarrian shenanigans. He likes Amarrian aesthetics, and works within their specialties of armor and energy weapons with great efficiency, training exclusively in them when it comes to combat, though he has quite the talent for mining, and is a capable pilot of an Exhumer.
Despite his disagreement with Amarrian society, he will always strive to foster relations with the Amarr, and in doing so, become one of the Capsuleers that lead Amarr to a glorious new day - to the rising of its glorious, golden sun.
