As the middle child, life was very difficult for Jessica. She always had to prove her worth to her abusive drunk father due to living in the shadow of her older, more talented, sister, she was more of a target to her father’s abuse for no other reason than because she wasn't just like her sister. The scar over her right eye was due to her father chucking a Spirits and Quafe bottle at her because she did not qualify for the State War Academy the first time around like her sister. After getting out of the medical bay she stole a shuttle and headed as far from her planet as the ship would take her. After several years of substance abuse her sister tracked her down and helped get Jessica’s life back on track. Jessica graduated The Science and Trade Institute and now roams the stars mining ore and ice for the state.
