Growing up without parents, with multiple adults directing you from daybreak to nightfall, gives you a certain... perspective. A regimented life might sit well for the rest of my 'siblings' but not for me. I needed freedom. I needed space. Literally.

Fortunately I was assigned to the Science and Trade Institute, and fast talked my way into flight school and piloting industrial ships. For as long as I could I tried to tamp down my raging independence, hiding it from my colleagues. But then one day, running a solo shipment to Hek, a pirate tackled my ship coming out of the gate. Instead of anger, there was a sort of jealously. Not of the piracy, but of the freedom. Something snapped. I dumped the cargo, engaged the warp stabilizers and took off on my own, off to explore the universe.

For a long while I explored alone, but soon I found a like minded group of explorers and joined Signal Cartel.
