Vortigern, son of Vitalis, is a member of an ancient Gallente family, whose forebears were famed for their relentless defence against pirates and bandits. A freelancer, he seeks to uphold the family tradition of law and decency in a dangerous society.

To that end, he founded Vortigern Vitalis Industries, a small enterprise dedicated to mining, production, logistics and security operations, which seeks to rise above factional differences and divisions, and pursuse engineering excellence.
