Junkers roam the fringes of known space, scrapping wrecks for whatever useful parts they can find. Their heavily jury-rigged ships are packed with rust and recycled air, purpose built for salvaging wrecks - and creating them. While some work as mercenaries for the Empires or the pirate syndicates, many simply drift from system to system taking whatever opportunity that comes along.
