Ark was born at the Ekura station in a lesser merchant family. After some revolutionary discovery of more efficient afterburners, the Ippelean family grew rich on the new invention. Today all of the Ippelean decendents study at higher academies in the Caldari Empire, except of Ark, who chose a career in trading and industry.
