The indications are very strong that we shall move in a few days, perhaps tomorrow. Should I not be able to write again I feel compelled to write a few lines that will fall under your eyes when I should be no more.

I have no misgivings about our lack of confidence in the calls of which I am engaged and my courage does not halt or falter. How great a debt we owe to those who went before us through the blood and suffering of the revolution. I am willing to lay down all my joys in this life to pay that debt.

But something whispers to me, that I shall return to my loved ones unharmed. If i do not, never forget how much I love you... and when my last breath escapes me, it will whisper your name...
