The Bros Genus.
By name and aspect a family, with a long family history. There has, for centuries, been a Genus mining asteroids, a Genus exploring space, and a Genus fighting to protect the family, its holdings and secrets. Little is known of their home life, although some have speculated that this is a generational clone family, due to the striking resemblence between the clan's current members and their forebears. Those delving too deeply into the family's matters seem to have an unusually high rate of catastrophic engine failures.

Pilium, the youngest of the brothers, is also notably the least stable. His tendency to react agressively in most situations has naturally led to a career overseeing security and trade within the Genus family.
