Aneira Cantos was born to a moderately wealthy Sebiestor family. Her father worked at a production plant, as a manager overseeing the workers, whereas her mother was a bartender at a local pub. Aneira was always interested in her fathers work, and as such, she became quite close with him. At the age of 9, Aneira was already quite familiar with the inner workings of various equipment and the principles behind them. Her father was quite impressed at her knowledge, but Aniera desired to know more. She studied for years and graduated university at 17, joining the Pator Tech School in her home system, Embod, a few months later. Unfortunately, during a expidition to a more lawless part of space, Aneira's crew was overrun with heavily armed bandits. Her entire crew was slaughtered but she managed to trap the pirates within the gravitational field of a nearby planet. However, Aneira's ship was hit. She was rescued later with amnesia after crashing.
