Having always had a fasination with anything relating to science, Mack studied the ancient Stargates and the genetic codes of several races. While studying the genetic sequence of an Amarrian, he came upon an amazing discovery, cross-checking his suspicions, he was convinced; he had found an Amarrian genetic code that had genetic sequences that were unmistakable Gallentean. He dug into the source of the similarities and found they had a common ancestor, and judging by the genetic variance, was about 14,000 years ago, which predates the EVE Gate itself. That and the fact the gates were built several millenium after the common ancestor, but in a short span of time, convinced Mack that Humans are not from the cluster of the Five Empires, but in fact originated from beyond the EVE Gate. Now he seeks confirmation of his belief or to find the truth if he's wrong.
