Growing up on a Guristas Mining Colony out in the Verge, 'Brute' has led a hardy life as a miner. Upon losing his parents in a rogue drone attack on his colony, Brutus enlisted as a Guristas pilot, partaking in raids into Serpentis space. Upon learning that the detachment set to guard his colony had left his family to die out of interpolitical conflict with members of the colony, Brutus defected from the Guristas, feeling disfranchised with his former "family". Eventually he wandered toward Caldari space, earning his provisional citizenship and pardon through mercenary work for CONCORD. Feeling he had nothing to lose, and with recommendation from his CONCORD liason, Brutus applied for the capsuleer program.

Having graduated as a state sanctioned capsuleer, Brutus now works for the State Navy, acting as an informant specializing against Gurista tactics. Helming the State Cruiser 'Fatal', Brutus commands from the rear and helps optimize fleet operations.
