Despite the fact that I may on occassions use mining equipment as part of my work, I am not a miner but a Local Emergency Responce Team member. As this work is intended to remove hazards from approaches to stations and on routes between stargates for the safety of all starfarers, pilots are asked to procede with caution while removal work is in progress.
Although this work may at first glance appear similar to mining, it is in fact a vital part of maintaining flight safety within systems for the good of all. As such the CODE is not applicable and no permit is required for this vitally important safety work.
Volunteers for this dangerous but necessary occupation are urgently required. Please check your local systems for flight hazards and use whatever ships/modules are available to you to remove obstacles to safe flight.
Please note:- LERTs are responsible for the safe disposal of recovered materials at their own cost.
