A deep space mining fleet eager for a faint signal of rare ore was drawn far into uncharted space. This load of ore lead to another. The ship now full, was about to leave for home. When a call from the ships com officer directed the captains attention to a very weak pod carrier wave. The captn was pissed. he had to take on surviors. company charter. He had to dump ore to make room the pod. They tried everything to open it. Exausted and frustrated the captn ordered the ship home.
