A graduate of the Center for Advanced Studies, whose studies focussed on survey techniques, with secondary competencies in space combat.

He has spent his early career working under the Center, mostly working on contract with the Gallente Federation. Eventually he left the Center for Advanced Studies to freelance, incorporating the Prion Seralis Corporation before joining Lumen et Umbra Corporation. Injured during fighting in Syndicate, and running low on funds he was eventually persuaded to join in privateer and militia activities under the banner of the 24th Imperial Crusade, rising to the rank of Tribunus Colonel, active in campaigns throughout The Bleak Lands.

A lull in fighting led Prion to accept a position within Inner Shadow engaging in freelance work.
