After narrowly escaping a near fatal incident during a mining expedition Leon Bale woke up without vision and without a father, lead foreman of ORE faction 932.
Due to improvements in cybernetic and neurobiological technology, adaptive chips have been placed along Leon's spine and occipital lobe, this allows statistical data of all sorts to be fed directly to his minds optical centers. The only thing he is able to see are vague impressions of what he knows to be numbers within his mind. Because of this, Leon's intelligence and memorization faculties are naturally beyond that of an average capsuleer.

Since the incident Leon has taken to simply exploring, gathering statistical data of every system he visits, gathering relics and reverse engineering ancient technologies. He is also adept at hacking various faction data cores, gathering valuable information on new technologies and productions other factions may be researching.
