Madaline grew up in a small family, where she was constantly encouraged to build things- whether something for pleasure or something to help someone. She was always told that she would become a celebrity one day, but she chose instead to become an Industrial Pilot when the chance arose. This way, she could do what she loved- building things. The mining that goes along with it was an acquired taste. She hated it at first, then grew to love it the more she did it. Of course, one was not wihtout the other. Madaline became an important part of those whose worlds she was in, and was a vital component in a lot of peoples' work.
